Housing and support programs that use a "Housing First" approach have a shared goal of rapidly re-housing homeless individuals and families in permanent supportive housing. To combat the problem of family homelessness in Santa Clara County, the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation convened a group of homeless service providers, individuals from local housing authorities and funders to design a pilot Housing First project. This report details the pilot program's first year and key learnings.
